Laos donates a pair of rare Asian elephants to Cambodia as a token of their deep friendship and solidarity. The elephants, a male and female, were delivered by Lao Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Linkham Douangsavanh, to Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Dith Tina. The elephants, aged 3 years and 7 months for the male and 3 years and 9 months for the female, were a gift from Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith to Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni during a recent state visit.
