Queensland considers using rubber bullets to scare crocodiles away from inhabited areas, as a part of a revised management plan. The state government has ruled out culling the reptiles, following a 16-year-old boy's death in a suspected crocodile attack. Environment Minister Leanne Linard has launched a plan to manage the state's crocodile population of up to 30,000, with a trial on the Fitzroy River to drive crocodiles away from the city.
