1979 Cochrane Ranche Men of Vision statue vandalized, horse legs cut; RCMP investigating.
Cochrane's iconic Men of Vision statue, a cowboy on a horse atop a hill in Cochrane Ranche, was vandalized with deep cuts on all four of the horse's legs. The statue is now surrounded by orange barricades as RCMP investigate the incident. The statue, installed in 1979, was damaged by vandals over the weekend and is currently fenced off as assessments and repairs are being conducted.
