Judge orders Hawaii to release wildfire investigation documents to lawyers handling lawsuits. Hundreds of lawsuits filed over last summer's Maui wildfires led attorneys to request the state release all documents, interviews, and data collected by the Fire Safety Research Institute, which was hired to investigate. Hawaii's attorney general's office initially refused, stating that disclosing the records could jeopardize the investigation.
