19-year-old Harley Whiteman, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, hit and killed 13-year-old Kaylan Hippsley in Hirwaun, Wales. Whiteman fled the scene but later returned to hinder bystanders attempting to save Kaylan, who passed away in the hospital three days later. Whiteman admitted to consuming four pints of alcohol and taking cocaine before the accident. His trial is ongoing.
