A fatal crash involving a semi-truck and a car on Interstate 49 in Grandview resulted in highway closure for over six hours. The semi-truck driver lost control, hit the median, and crossed into the northbound lanes, killing the driver of the other vehicle. The semi-truck driver was critically injured. The crash spilled oranges onto the road and caused debris, impacting the morning commute with only one southbound lane open for traffic.
