A semi-truck crash on westbound I-84 in Columbia River Gorge involving a truck carrying corn led to a lane closure and significant delays, causing traffic diversions. The driver was airlifted to a hospital. All westbound lanes reopened by 4:30 pm, but one lane remained closed near the crash site. Oregon Department of Transportation and heavy-duty tow trucks removed the trucks, including the corn-hauling one, from the scene.
