Chennai police arrested a 29-year-old man from Rajasthan for the murder of a Keralite couple, Sivan Nair and Prasannakumari, who were a Siddha doctor and retired teacher respectively. The bodies were found in their residence with 800g of gold missing. The suspect, Mahesh, was identified through a mobile phone found at the crime scene. Police are still investigating the motive behind the killings.
