Malaysia's Ministry of Home Affairs plans to acquire four helicopters for the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) at an estimated cost of RM600m. The helicopters aim to improve MMEA's maritime patrol capabilities. Additionally, the ministry is considering accepting a patrol vessel offered by the US Coast Guard, strengthening maritime security cooperation and information sharing between both countries.
