Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigates a northern state leader for allegedly awarding RM300,000 projects to companies he has vested interests in and appointing companies linked to his son for RM1m maintenance works. The offenses reportedly occurred between Jan 2023-Mar 2024, with companies submitting false docs for 5% commissions. MACC chief confirmed the ongoing investigation.
