Japanese PM Fumio Kishida will visit France, Brazil, and Paraguay from May 1 as Japan seeks to strengthen ties with Latin America. Highlights of the six-day tour include meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and Paraguayan President Santiago Pena. Kishida is expected to discuss bilateral cooperation on climate change, decarbonization, and other environmental issues, as well as Japanese investments in Brazil and global economic challenges.
