China's National Bureau of Statistics reports most capital goods prices rose in mid-April compared to early April, with 34 of 50 major goods in nine categories, including steel tubes, gasoline, coal, and fertilizer, experiencing price increases, while 16 saw price declines. Hog prices decreased 1.3%. The data, released every 10 days, is based on surveys of nearly 2,000 wholesalers and distributors across China.
