China's CPI rose 0.1% YoY in March.

China's consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.1% year-on-year in March, according to official data, while the core CPI, excluding food and energy prices, went up 0.6% year-on-year. However, on a monthly basis, the CPI fell 1% in March. China's producer prices continue to fall, declining 2.8% year-on-year in March, the longest falling streak since 2016. These figures indicate persistent deflationary pressures in the Chinese economy, despite signs of recovery.
