German authorities conducted a large-scale raid against an international human smuggling gang, targeting exploitation of visa permits for 350 mostly Chinese nationals who did not meet required criteria. Over 1,000 officers searched homes, stores, and offices across eight states, resulting in the arrest of 10 suspects, including two lawyers. The suspects are accused of illegally obtaining residency permits for the Chinese nationals in exchange for hundreds of thousands of euros.
