35 illegal tax collectors in Benue State face prosecution, says acting BIRS chairman Emmanuel Agena. A truck carrying palliatives from Adamawa to Anambra was hijacked by hoodlums in Aliade, Gwer East. The driver was beaten, and N200,000 was stolen. Three suspects have been arrested and moved to the DSS for investigation. Agena stated that the era of using the board to patronize politicians is over.
