41 historical sites in Gaza have been damaged since 2014, with some of its most significant treasures protected in a warehouse in Switzerland. Despite the destruction of the ancient Greek city of Anthedon and the Al-Basha museum, many valuable artifacts remain safe in a warehouse and are being exhibited in museums abroad. The blockade that has made life in Gaza difficult for the past 16 years has inadvertently protected these historical artifacts.
