Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray stated that autocracy is detrimental to the country and called for having a coalition government at the Centre. He argued that past coalition governments, such as those led by P. V. Narasimha Rao, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Manmohan Singh, have functioned well. Thackeray emphasized the need for a strong leader who takes everyone along, as discontent is now visible at a large scale within the country.
