Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde accused Uddhav Thackeray of abandoning Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray's ideology, which led to his rebellion in June 2022. Shinde, who formed a new government with BJP help, claimed he didn't want to become CM but felt compelled to rebel. He criticized Thackeray for favoring dynastic politics and treating party functionaries as "house-helps." Shinde also expects his faction's Mahayuti alliance to win all Lok Sabha seats in Vidarbha.
