Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, does not aspire to be Maharashtra's Chief Minister.
Uddhav Thackeray, leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), has stated he does not aspire to be Maharashtra's Chief Minister, emphasizing his strength comes from public support. His comments were made during a protest in Ahmednagar, where he urged allies NCP (SP) and Congress to choose a Chief Ministerial candidate for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), but they refrained. Thackeray resigned as Chief Minister in June 2022 after a coup led by Eknath Shinde, supported by the BJP.
