Canada's PSAC and government enter Public Interest Commission hearings for Border Services Group in conciliation process.
Canada's Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the government are entering Public Interest Commission (PIC) hearings for the Border Services (FB) group as part of the conciliation process. The independent third-party PIC will recommend settlements to aid the government and the PSAC in reaching a settlement. The government is committed to fair agreements with public service unions and has already reached agreements with 17 bargaining units, covering over 80% of employees in the core public administration. The Border Services Group consists of about 9,000 positions at the Canada Border Services Agency, involved in the inspection and control of people and goods entering Canada.
