Callaghan Innovation spent $173,000 on rebranding, including $15,440 on t-shirts and over $15,000 on the logo, at a time when taxpayer-funded agencies were being told to cut spending. The revelations came as staff found out about job cuts across the organization. Taxpayers' Union Campaigns Manager Connor Molloy criticized the waste and called for Chief Executive Stefan Korn to explain the rebranding expenditure.
