78-year-old Quincy man, John Sullivan, has pleaded guilty to committing a hate crime in 2022 after violently attacking a Vietnamese family with his car, while threatening to kill them and telling them to "go back to China." Sullivan faces up to 10 years in federal prison for violating the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
