12-year inmate Kieran Loveridge, responsible for one-punch killing, granted parole on supervised release no later than April 25.
12-year-inmate Kieran Loveridge, responsible for a one-punch killing of 18-year-old Thomas Kelly and sparking Sydney's lockout laws, has been granted parole. The NSW State Parole Authority has set his release date on supervised parole no later than April 25. Despite acknowledging the risk to community safety, the authority stated that Loveridge's completion of a violent offenders program, positive progress in custody, agreed post-release plan, and strict conditions upon release mitigate the danger.
