18-year-old Thomas Betteridge has been sentenced to 9 years in a young offender institution for manslaughter and possession of a bladed article, after fatally stabbing fellow teenager Cameron Hamilton during a fight in Bournemouth. Betteridge's co-defendant, Lennie Hansen, will be sentenced for knife possession at a later date. Hamilton's family expressed their devastation, stating they have been left with a "true life sentence".
