2024 Q1-Q2 SOFAZ earnings from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz field decreased 8.2 times to $78.5M compared to the previous year.

State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) earned $78.5 million from Shah Deniz field since January to April 2024, a decrease of 8.2 times compared to the corresponding period last year. Revenues from condensate sales also decreased by 8.1 times, amounting to $15.7 million. SOFAZ, established in 1999, manages Azerbaijan's oil and gas revenues for future generations. The Shah Deniz field, located offshore in the Caspian Sea, is one of Azerbaijan's largest natural gas fields.
