A Florida man, Neal Brij Sidhwaney, was sentenced to 14 months in prison after threatening to kill Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Sidhwaney, a former Google programmer, pleaded guilty to transmitting an interstate threat to injure after leaving an expletive-filled voicemail message with the Supreme Court on July 31, 2023. The 43-year-old was arrested in August and faced up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
