29-year-old Wisconsin man, Hridindu Sankar Roychowdhury, has been sentenced to 7½ years in prison for firebombing an anti-abortion group's office in Madison in 2022. The incident occurred just days after the leak of a draft opinion suggesting the US Supreme Court's intention to overturn the nationwide right to abortion. Roychowdhury pleaded guilty to the attack and has also been ordered to pay nearly $32,000 in restitution, as well as face three years of probation upon release.
