4th person dies in Pukaki crash, raising Easter weekend road toll to 7. A crash involving two vehicles and a motorcycle near Lake Pukaki on Saturday resulted in three initial fatalities, and the fourth person, in a serious condition, passed away overnight. The accident took place on State Highway 8 between Hayman Road and Tekapo Canal Road. The police are continuing to investigate and identify those involved in the crash.
