Sierra Leone national arrested at Mumbai airport, smuggling 11 crore worth cocaine in stomach capsules.
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested a Sierra Leone national who attempted to smuggle cocaine worth Rs 11 crore, concealed in 74 capsules in his stomach, at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The drug capsules, weighing 1,108 grams, were removed from his body by doctors at the J J Hospital. The man was arrested after specific intelligence led to his interception by the DRI.
