2 Tanzanian passengers were apprehended by India's Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) at Kochi International Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle cocaine worth ₹19 crore ($2.6 million). The passengers were subjected to x-ray screening, which revealed capsules in their stomach. The drugs were extracted under medical supervision and the male passenger was arrested.
