India has rescued and repatriated about 250 Indians who were lured with job opportunities in Cambodia but forced to undertake illegal cyber work, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The Indian Embassy in Cambodia has been actively responding to complaints from Indian nationals, and has issued several advisories to Indians about such scams.
