Fisherman Laines Nema, from Campbelltown, received a Bravery Medal for his heroic actions in rescuing an unconscious man from rough seas at Port Kembla on February 12, 2021. Nema had initially planned to fish nearby when he saw a crowd gathering near the rocks at Hill 60. Thanks to his selfless actions and those of fellow Bravery Medal recipient Sgt Nicholas Park, one of the three men rock fishing at the dangerous Hill 60 location survived.
