Although many Americans believe that immigrants contribute to the economy and enrich American culture, they perceive fewer major benefits and more major risks for legal immigrants compared to previous years. About 4 in 10 U.S. adults think it's a major benefit for American companies to receive skilled workers from immigrants in fields like science and technology.
