In 2023, the foreign-born population in the U.S. rose to 14.3%, the highest level in over a century, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. International migrants are the main contributors to population growth, accounting for over two-thirds of the increase this year and nearly three-quarters since 2010. Latin American immigrants represent 51.2% of the foreign-born population. The median age increased to 39.2, and remote work fell to 13.8%.
