UK home sales increased for the second month in a row in February, reaching 82,940 transactions, a 6% decrease compared to February 2023, but a 1% increase compared to January 2024. This rise in property transactions reflects growing buyer confidence and improved market conditions. However, sales were still down by around 200,000 compared to the previous 11-month period. Experts predict further growth in sales in the coming months as traditionally the spring and summer periods are the strongest times for people to sell their homes.
