Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised BJP candidate Rekha Patra, a survivor of alleged sexual violence and land grab in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, calling her "Shakti Swaroopa" during a conversation with her. Patra, who has been nominated by the BJP for the Basirhat Lok Sabha seat, previously raised concerns over alleged atrocities by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders in Sandeshkhali. Modi reassured Patra of his support and expressed confidence in her victory.
