BJP National President JP Nadda attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming that she protected Sheikh Shahjahan even as atrocities were committed against women in Sandeshkhali. Addressing a rally in Ranaghat, he accused the Trinamool Congress government of corruption, extortion, appeasement, and discrimination. Nadda also said that despite having a woman CM, women in West Bengal are most unsafe.
