Georgia deputy saves arrestee's life after man admits swallowing fentanyl during jail transport. On March 14, Oconee County Deputy Glenn exchanged custody of a suspect with Athens-Clarke County police, and during the journey, the arrestee revealed he had consumed fentanyl. Upon arriving at the jail, Deputy Glenn administered Naloxone, an opioid antidote, and the man was taken to the hospital. His current condition remains unknown.
