Johnson County detention deputy Lydia J. Ewing is accused of giving hydrocodone to another deputy on duty at the jail. An investigation was initiated after Sheriff Tom Hughes requested narcotics investigators to review a video showing two pills being passed between detention officers. Ewing admitted to giving the pills, thinking they were Tylenol for back pain, but realized she might have given hydrocodone by accident.
