Kansas man Denton Loudermill sues Rep. Tim Burchett for defamation over false accusation of being an undocumented shooter at the Kansas City Chiefs parade.
A Kansas man, Denton Loudermill, has filed a defamation suit against Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) for falsely identifying him as an undocumented immigrant and one of the shooters in the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade, which turned deadly last month. The lawsuit alleges that Loudermill sustained damages in excess of $75,000 as a result of a false statement causing him "mental distress, sleeplessness, anxiety, and agitation."
