A man named Paul Contreras, who was at the Super Bowl parade in Kansas City with his daughter, has described the moment he tackled a suspect who allegedly opened fire at the event. Contreras heard someone yelling to stop the gunman and managed to tackle him, either jarring the gun out of his hand or out of his sleeve, causing it to drop to the ground. After the suspect was taken down, Contreras helped pin him to the ground until law enforcement arrived on the scene.
