28-year-old Sarasota man killed in hit-and-run on State Road 70 in Manatee County. The bicyclist was attempting to cross the road in a pedestrian crosswalk when a red sedan struck him and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Blake Hospital and later pronounced dead. Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the case, and anyone with information is urged to contact them or Crimestoppers.
