Qualcomm claims most Windows games will run on its latest Arm laptop chipset without porting, using emulation to support x86/64 games at nearly full speed. Unreleased laptops with Snapdragon X Elite chipset are expected, with developers given three options to run games: natively on ARM64 for best performance and power usage, a hybrid ARM64EC approach with native Windows, libraries, and Qualcomm drivers, and a third where games run through emulation with minimal changes to code or assets.
