Google launches native Chrome browser for Arm-based PCs using Qualcomm's chip architecture, optimizing for hardware and OS.
Google has launched a native Chrome browser for Arm-based PCs using Qualcomm's chip architecture, optimizing the browser for hardware and operating system of such devices. The new Chrome version follows a test build on the Chrome Canary channel in April and is expected to benefit devices using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx Gen2, 7c Gen2, and 7c chips, as well as Microsoft's SQ3 processor for some Surface devices. The move comes ahead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite chip launch, aiming to offer improved performance, battery efficiency, and AI capabilities for Arm-based Windows PCs.
