Canadian gang leader Conor D'Monte, who evaded authorities for over a decade after allegedly masterminding a gang murder in 2009, has been returned to Canada from Puerto Rico. D'Monte, a high-ranking member of the United Nations gang, is now in a pre-trial facility after being arrested in 2022. He is facing charges for the murder of Kevin LeClair, a rival gang member, in a publicly-violent gang war in B.C. 's Lower Mainland.
