Kisii Governor presents Elijah Obebo as possible replacement for impeached Deputy Governor Monda.
Kisii Governor Simba Arati presented Elijah Obebo, County Public Service Board Chair, as the possible replacement for impeached Deputy Governor Robert Monda. Obebo is set to resign his position on the board. Monda was impeached on charges of gross violation of abuse of power, among others. The Machakos High Court has suspended the gazette notice declaring Monda's position vacant.
