BOJ ends negative interest rate policy.

Japan's central bank, the Bank of Japan (BOJ), has decided to end its negative interest rate policy and yield curve control policy introduced in 2016. The latter was designed to maintain accommodative financial conditions by keeping the yield on 10-year Japanese government bonds around 0%. BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda proposed this change during a two-day policy-setting board meeting.
