Female officer and inmate stabbed at Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility on March 19.
A female officer at Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility was stabbed multiple times by an inmate on March 19, at around 10:30 a.m. Another inmate was also stabbed during the same incident. Both victims were treated for their injuries, and the situation is currently under control and under investigation, according to Yazoo County Sheriff Jeremy McCoy.
