In Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, two children aged around 11 and 6 were brutally murdered on Tuesday. The accused, aged roughly 25-30, attempted to escape but was killed in an encounter with the police after firing at them. The police are investigating the case and have not disclosed the motive behind the murders. Heavy police security has been deployed in the area as locals protest against the double-murder.
