Australian energy customers in four states can expect small savings on their power bills, after two years of 20% price increases. The Australian Energy Regulator and Victoria's Essential Services Commission have announced draft decisions setting the maximum price energy retailers can charge electricity consumers under a specific plan, known as the Default Market Offer. Most residential customers should see price reductions of between 0.4% and 7.1% in the next financial year.
